I just picked up a pair of these shoes from the Adidas warehouse along Parramatta road in Sydney for $65. Full retail is apparently $180.
I haven't tried Adidas before but I couldn't go past such a bargain!
Are these good running shoes or have I wasted my money?

I also picked up a pair in Melb for similar price and then sold em as they were too big.
You realise that they are racing shoes and not really designed for daily mileage?
Although fairly solid so could probably crack out some shorter training in them.

What a bargain! I rate these shoes very highly. (IMO) a fantastic racing shoe. I think Adidas make some top quality products and are very underrated.

SOunds like a great deal, I will head up there on Sat, hopefully some left.
How do they compare weight wise with the Asics Gel Magic Racers at 215grams ??
I need something light to race in.

Wilbur,
Glad I could be of assistance in the purchase of your new shoes. I've done a couple of short runs (5k & 8k) and they do feel good. They're lighter than my asics 2090's but then again they are racing shoes and aren't really made for daily training runs.
Big_Daddy,
Sorry I don't know how these compare to the Gel Magic Racers but I do know they are very comfortable for a racing shoe.
There were plenty of sizes when I bought mine last Sunday. Hopefully you'll find your size.

Gee, don't tell everybody, but this is a good one.
Haven't had racing flats for long time, and this trainer/racer comes close. Even my 2km run with the dog (Labrador) was at 4:20 pace :) .
Seriously though, most racing flats have at least some curve in it, which also make them faster and less rigid.
This shoe as a trainer cum racer is straight lasted, and may not be for you as an everyday shoe if you don't already run in a straight lasted shoe.
