Just a quick comment for Sydney runners. I bought some new Brooks Trance from Damien at the Sydney Running Centre at Edgecliff station yesterday after trying a few different pairs on.

Easily the most informed service I've had in Sydney. Very impressed.

Will be sending all running patients there in future.

I agree. Damien and Julian are fantastic - they not only give great advice and information about the shoes you should be wearing, but they are also great sources of information about training and upcoming races.

Does anyone know if the store will be open after the C2S on Sunday? I'm due for a new pair of shoes (or two).

Lonewolf, I went to the Edgecliff shop yesterday armed to buy some run faster runners, but they were closed, <_< I was heading East so no real drama, but the opening hours says it's closed on Sundays, should have phoned first...

I had a melting accident with my runners in the drier last night and was in a bit of a panic today as they were the ones i was going to use in the C2S. I went there today and they have a huge range of shoes & racers. I ended up getting the Brooks Racer ST. Now only 5 more days before I can try them out, officially of course.

Thanks Podrunner.

Hi All,

I went to one in Randwick Athletic Edge which I came across through this site and I was really happy with the service from Steven. Took my old shoes went through the options and came away happy.

I think he said he was open Saturday afternnoons and even Sunday mornings I think, but I don't know about this Sunday.
