Apoligise for reposting this, but cant find the thread and info from last year.

Does anyone have an address for any shoe warehouses in Melbourne that sell New Balance or Asic shoes?

I do not know of a factory outlet for Asics but best prices at Leo Russell sports in Preston - cash only and great range.

New Balance have a factory outlet in Sandringham/Cheltenham between the cemetery and Bay Rd - cannot remember the street - excellent prices for all gear.

Smith St in Fitzroy has several sports outlet stores with great prices - New Balance may also be there.

Try Springer Sports Shoes in Melbourne (not sure which suburb) for cheaper ASICS shoes. They can also be reached online at www.justasics.com.au

New Balance is in Wangara Road, Cheltenham. Don't forget to look in the bargain bins! There is usually some great stuff for next to nix. Oh and their sports socks are about half the price you would normally pay ($8.00 on my last visit).

Note at NB in Cheltenham they do not stock current models so the Kayano equivalent in NB is the 1221's and as it is a new model they do not stock.
NB warehouse well worth a look..the socks are very good value...3 pairs for $9 this week... but if buying shoes you should do your homework first to ensure the model is right for you otherwise it will prove an expensive buy.

i'd definetly give 'Leo Russell' a try, they are located in Gilbert Rd (near miller st) west preston.
He only stocks Ascics and sells cricket gear.
Peter is the main man...Leo's son. Leo is clocking up the miles i the sky.
