Hi all
can anyone help

anyone know the loco equivalent of the asics 1090(men) - I am looking to change shoes.

also is it ok to wear good running shoes to work(pe teacher) all day and then go for a run after in the same shoes or would it be better to keep one good pair for running and one good pair for work -- i might take advantage of the loco discount if you buy 2 pair.

lastly can you take advantage of the loco offer at one of the stores(runners world kew) or must it be online -- would like to try a pair first if possible.

any advice would be much appreciated

I've got an old worn-out pair of 1090s. I'd say they're neutral shoes. The Loco equivalent would probably be the Xpressos.

Recently purcased a pair of Xpressos. Have only done 1 run in them, but they seem good :)

Have been a Asics 2110 series wearer for 3 seasons & thought to give Loco 'Mojo' a try after 1 month in with same foot/friction precautions as the Asics, the new Loco runners haven't quiet formed my foot print received blisters galore on a Ultra last weekend. They also seem to be a narrower fit than Asics

I am a PE teacher too. I always wear different shoes for work and for runs. Basically I wear my old running shoes for teaching, and put my good runners on for training. You should probably be rotating your training shoes anyway.
I'd be interested to hear how the loco's go

I got a pair of banditos late last year and found them excellent on shorter runs (<20k). Very light, but they do have a narrower fit. Well worth a try.
