Hi everyone

I travel through the Kings X tunnel every day and as many of you may or may not know, it has been reduced to 2 lanes each way because of work on the Cross City tunnel has started - and when I say reduced it has literally been boarded up so that you are travelling down towards Rushcutters Bay in a narrow 2 lane corridor...

I am very curious to know how this is going to affect the C2S as it is going to produce an almighty bottle neck with 65,000 people attempting to get through it - and I'm wondering if the organisers have really thought about how staggered the starts are going to be to overcome this...

I'd be really interested to hear anyone elses thoughts on the matter... and if there is any way we can highlight this to the organisers in a way that they will take notice!

Cheers guys,
Naughty

Well spotted Naughty !! I noticed this on the weekend also.... It doesnt look temporary to say the least - could be a real disaster.

Might be quicker to veer left and take the offramp over the top of Darlinghurst Rd, eh boys.  The hill's a bit of a bugger but at least you get the downhill the other side...
