Spotted Ellie80 this morning when leaving Centennial Park and then Fake Plastic Trees along Doncaster Avenue, both dressed in black  :)

I wondered who was beeping the horn at me. I couldn't really see the driver. Black is a very slimming colour and allows me to sneak up on my enemies.

just fishing this time to put a name to the face.....

keep running into a head band wearing chap around St Lucia not in CR gear but always cheerfully giving a GCR each time we pass each other. i would like to be able to respond more personably than "gidday mate". please forgive my memory if we have met before, but what's you CR name good sir?

I want to move interstate ...you guys seem to be constantly bumping into each other.

I reckon the Adelaidians need to start promoting CR, here in SA, and mixing more. Regardless of what John Brumby said about we are not a backwater....we are very rich in potential!
Seriously I love being a part of the CR community, but I wish that there was more at a local level. For the first time, last week, I met another CR - Sunny 1 - and it was terrific. So if there any 'closet' Adelaidians on this site reveal yourself and we can start connecting more.

During my morning ride saw Clairie (and friend) at Dutton's Park as I dragged Darth up the hill, and a CR hatted lass running hard on the riverside boardwalk approaching the Victoria Bridge.

Good to see you Sook. It was a fantastic day for running, a bit cooler and lower humidity. The Bay was sensational

Hi all,

I saw Paul Every  crossing at the lights on the corner of Trebor Road and Penno Road, Pennant Hills at 6:00pm last night.  He was walking with a bag in his hand and C2K t- Shirt on - actually looked a bit lost or looking a long way up the road for something.cheers  Plu

Spotted Ellie and Vurt this afternoon doing a cool-down in Centennial Park with glasses of champagne.

It looked like they had a fierce thirst.

A rare Port Macq sighting this morning.

I think I saw portrunr in Short St running in the rain about 7am. I'd just finished a spin class at Studio 1 and was just driving home when I spotted him. Didn't shout out, I was too far past when I realised who it was. No doubt getting some training in for 6ft.
In hindsight, I should've stopped the car and joined you for a few k's!!

kazz.

Hey kazz,
Yeah that was me. Not often that I run through town but decided to as it was a bit quiet out and about this morning.
Happy 500th!

I saw Greg Waite running, presumably to work, through the Gardens this morning. I saw too busy sucking down an ice block after a hard speed session to say g'day.

Great experience for me tonight...this has never happened to me before...
While I was running (around the River Torrens), I waved g'day to a runner coming the other way. When Id finished my run and that same runner finished too and walked close by me....so I struck up a conversation with him. He recognised my CR running singlet. Turns out he was a CR! CharlieBoy from Sydney, here in Adelaide on business. We had a great chat and talked about CR. What a treat!
Who said exciting things dont happen in Adelaide!
Cheers

Passed a couple of Cool Runners off the Bay Run - about 10kms into the 'Balmain Bungle' - up the canal from the Lilyfield bridge (Hawthorne Canal Reservation opposite the canal from the dog park). Don't know who they were but gave me a bit of a lift at that part of my long run so thanks ladies.

Yes, that was us Sook.   Hope you had a good run rachinaus (and don't worry about confusing in gear or not.....I have just realised I did the same thing, but opposite way around with a post on siting Eagle the same morning!) :)

See you again around the Bay some time  :o

Cool - you might remember me -  I commented on your nice gear as I ran past. It was a good run thanks. Will definitely see you around the bay - have only really strated running there recently but its really something when you set off from Drummoyne Rowers at some early hour and look out across the water - it can have a kind of mist across it - that early morning haze - and the boats. Its pretty amazing and for the few times I have done it always gives me a thrill

CrowPOWER - this morning, 9:50, uphill direction, Eastern side of road, St Bernards Rd!!

Pretty sure it was him, anyway. Have never spotted a CR out of an event, so this is a huge first!!

Go crowpower (even if it wasn't you)!!

:)  Sunny. I've acknowledged your sighting elsewhere (How many routes thread).

Ever the real runner,  Sunny didn't "beep" me. Only non-runners who know me beep me and expect me to instantly know that it was them!

Do training run sightings count? I encountered celtic runr last Sunday along Fourth Creek near Morialta.

I can't recall anyone else being so excited about seeing me, apart from my 8 year old son when I returned from New Jersey. I realise from sunny's viewpoint I'm representing any CR, but I'm still chuckling! Glad to oblige Sunny, seeing as you only had a 6:24 window today!

... or running along the river, somewhere between Vale Park and Athelstone! Surprised we haven't passed before. Vale Park to Campbell Town section of the linear track would be my AA route.

:D

Today I ran from the top of Magill Road (Tower Crash Repairs) to St Peters (am) and St Peters to Tower Crash Repairs (pm) (only 5 min longer for pm run!) ... close to your route P?! or was it U?

In that case I'd say we've seen each other several times and not known it. I'll probably see you on the 8th for Colsy's mountain climb and we can figure it out.

It was my P route (clockwise).
