Just thought I'd let people know that Athlete's foot has there half yearly shoe sale on now, so it is a good time to pick up new shoes for later on or good if you need them now. Picked up some Trance 8s for a good price.

By good price do you mean 20/30/50% off? If its only 20 odd bucks probably not worth it for me.

I just bought a new pair of Mizuno Nirvana's from Athlete's Foot today. Paid full freight too (which is a lot of freight!), but I didn't notice any sale. Some shoes were on special (say 25% range), but this is probably always the case?

Incidentally I was happy with their service. Better in fact than a local specialist running shoe store that didn't seem interested in giving any advice at all!

It varies on the shoes - I got $60 off the Trance - normally $259.99 and I paid $199.99 - still pricey but the trance is their top of the range Brooks shoe. Chris, my husband, got a pair of Asics Gel 470s for $129.99 so that is $60 off as well.

Joel, they don't always have special at Athletes foot but it seems that in June and Dec they do.
