The NSW Institute of Sport has organised an information seminar on Distance running.

Guest Speakers Herb Elliott and Ralph Doubell will share their wealth of knowledge and experiences with you.

  • 3:50pm Parameters of elite endurance performance (race speeds, Physiological parameters) - Kenneth Graham

  • 4:30pm Running fast times when it counts - Ralph Doubell (Training: what I did and didn't do, What do I see is necessary for elite 800 m performance)
  • 5:00pm Small group discussions
  • 5:30pm Break
  • 5:40pm Reconvene to discuss topics arising from group session.
  • 6:00pm Running fast times when it counts - Herb Elliot (Training: what I did and didn't do, What do I see is necessary for elite 1500 m performance)
