Declaration: 1. I, the undersigned, in consideration of and as a condition of acceptance of my entry in this event for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators, hereby waive all and any claim, right or course of action which I or they might other have for or arising out of loss of my life or injury, damage or loss of any description whatsoever which I may suffer or sustain in the course of or consequent upon my entry or participation in the said event. 2. This waiver, release and discharge shall be and operate separately in favour of all persons, corporations and bodies involved or otherwise engaged in promoting or staging the event and the servants, agents, representatives and officers or any of them, and includes but is not limited to River City Events Pty Ltd, and other related companies, Queensland Athletics associate sponsors, medical and para medical practitioners and personnel, police officer, the Brisbane City Council, and shall so operate whether or not the loss, injury or damage is attributable to the act or neglect of any one or more of them. 3. The information supplied on this form is true and correct. 4. I agree to abide and be bound by the race rules, as varied form time to time, governing the Event. 5.I consent to the publication and/or use in any form of media whatsoever of my name, image, voice, statements or otherwise, before, during or after the Event whether for advertising, promotion or otherwise, without payment of compensation. 6. I agree that should the Event be cancelled for any reason whatsoever my entry fees will not be refunded and no liability of any kind whatsoever will attach to the Organisers. 7. Chip timing for late entrants is not guaranteed. 8. I acknowledge that the race timing chip remains the property of River City Events Pty Ltd. I agree to pay $50 should I not return my chip to River City Events Pty Ltd.
