This year's event promises to be bigger and better again, with anticipated record entrants, our new micro and mini marathons, riverside course, mid-run and live entertainment. As you leave and complete the race with a lap around Suncorp Stadium, you'll understand why the 1998 Brisbane River Run/Walk is Brisbane's premier athletic event. Come and join in the pre-race excitement at the Caxton Street MONSTER PASTA PARTY on Friday night. This year's event will be fast, flat, furious, fantastic and fun - come and be part of Brisbane.

Your Host, Brisbane

Clear skies; abundant night life; beautiful views; open green spaces; great food; great wine and fascinating people. New and improved running and walking tracks follow Brisbane's most pleasurable attraction, the Brisbane River, linking Southbank, Queensland University, the Park Road and Caxton Street coffee shop districts, Waterfront Place, the Botanical Gardens and Kangaroo Point cliffs.
