The DeCastella Fun Run The DeCastella Fun Run is named in honour of one of Xavier College's previous students and one of Australia's greatest athletes Robert DeCastella. This year marks the 21st holding of the run and is one of the longest staged events of its kind in Melbourne. The Course Runners and walkers will all start in Nolan Avenue Kew at 9.00 am and will then proceed to the Boulevard which runs along the picturesque Yarra River. The course is challenging for both runners and walkers particularly with its undulating hills.
This year to mark the 21st holding of the event we are pleased to announce that there will be prizes awarded to runners and walkers in the best fancy dress costumes. Dress up in your favourite fancy dress and become eligible for the prizes that will be awarded. Dress up individually or as a team and join in the spirit of the occasion.
