HOPETOWN ROAD RELAY Sunday, 22nd August, 1999  | Start: Westfield Shoppingtown Chatswood Cnr Archer & Victoria Streets, Chatswood | $4000 in Prizes |  | Time: 6.00am |  | Finish: HopeTown Special School Pollock Ave, Wyong | STA buses will be provided to transport teams from the start to the finish and return. Teams are encouraged to utilise buses to minimise the number of support vehicles.
1. Total Race Distance - 112kms, contested over 12 stages as follows:
Stage 1 - 7.2kms Stage 2 - 1 0.1 kms Stage 3 - 10.9kms Stage 4 - 12.6kms Stage 5 - 9.9kms Stage 6 - 6.4kms - Female Stage for Corporate Teams Stage 7 - 11.1 kms Stage 8 - 10.9kms Stage 9 - 7.8kms Stage 10 - 9.5kms Stage 11 - 7.6kms - Female Stage for Corporate Teams Stage 12 - 8.0kms
2. The Relay will be contested in three divisions: - Registered Athletic Clubs - to contest the NSW Long Distance Road Relay Championship for Men & Women
- Jogging/Triathlon Clubs
- Corporate Teams
3. Prizes will be awarded as follows: - All Stage Winners - Male & Female
- First Place Overall - $1,500 Cash Prize
- First Place - Women's Team
- First, Second & Third Place ANSW Championship Medallions for Registered Athletic Clubs - Male & Female
- First Jogging/Triathlon Club - Male
- First Jogging/Triathion Club - Female
- First Corporate Team
- Certificates to Placegetters in each division
4. A mass start will be contested for each stage with overall times for the 12 stages being accumulated to determine placings 5. A presentation, including BBQ and drinks will be conducted at the finish at HopeTown Special School. Registered Athletes - Male (Competing for the Athletics NSW Long Distance Road Relay Championship) - All requirements of Athletics NSW to be adhered to.
- Teams to comprise 12 runners with all 12 competing team members to be registered with ANSW.
- All twelve (12) stages to be completed.
Registered Athletes - Female (Competing for the Athletics NSW Long Distance Road Relay Championship) - All requirements of Athletics NSW to be adhered to.
- Teams to comprise 6 female runners with all competing team members to be registered with ANSW.
- The following six (6) stages to be completed - Stages 6, 8, 9, 10, 11 & 12
Jogging/Triathlon Clubs - Male - No minimum requirements for team numbers.
- Female athletes may compete in teh Male Division
Jogging/Triathlon Clubs - Female - No minimum requirements for team numbers.
- The following six (6) stages to be completed - Stages 6, 8, 9, 10, 11 & 12
Corporate Teams - No minimum requirements for team numbers.
- Female athletes to contest Stage 6 - 6.4kms and Stage 11 - 7.6kms
