Raymond Terrace Athletics Centre is again hosting the annual Wallaroo Fun Run, to be held at Wallaroo State Forest on Sunday 18th May 2003. The entrance is 600m south of the Williamtown / Nelson Bay turn-off, which is on the Pacific Highway, 12km north of Raymond Terrace. The three runs follow fire trails through a tranquil forest setting.

Starting times:

• 10km - 10:30
• 6 km - 12:00
• 2 km - 1:30

Cost:

• $8 per adult ($10 on the day)
• $5 for 18 years and under ($6 on the day)
• $16 per family ($20 on the day)
• $4 for any additional runs

Entries accepted until 30 mins before each run.

Categories include: individual, team, husband & wife, parent & child. Agegroups start at Under 7 to Over 50.

Trophies are awarded to the first male and female to finish each run, medals for Category winners and Certificates of Achievement for all competitors.

The 'Grumpy Monkey' (see left) is a Malaysian war dog. This is also the logo for the 77 squadron at RAAF Base Williamtown which was the original patron of Raymond Terrace Athletics Centre.
