Lysterfield Lake/Churchill National Park

Only 30km south east of the Melbourne CBD (about a 40 min drive), Lysterfield Lake Park and Churchill National Park are adjacent parks that are a great place to run. In total the parks cover 1668 hectares and there are numerous options for running. The park is not ridiculously hilly, but there are plenty of options if it's hills you are after. Most of the tracks are either management vehicle tracks or walking tracks. There's no shortage of tracks to choose from, so it would be best to have a look at the Parks Victoria vistor guide. Watch out for kangaroos!
