The Basics
Brisbane is called the River City and visitors to the city will quickly appreciate why as the either fly over the city or travel by car over one of the six major river crossings - four in the CBD alone. The good news for runners is that the river banks provide for many kilometers of flat running tracks. But there is more than just the river there are plenty of hills and the Bay provides plenty of opportunities both to the north and south of the city.
