CITY RAIDING THE GOLD COAST

The City Raid will be “raiding the Gold Coast” for the first time on the 21st September this year.

This isn’t a stereotypical sports event - participants, known as City Raiders, will utilize their urban surroundings to collect Raid Points located throughout the Gold Coast. City Raid is part amazing race part adventure race and a great day out.

You and your team mate will have 3 to 6 hours to walk or run, bus, train, ferry and brain your way around an urban location collecting RAID POINTS. The race will commence from the Circle on Cavill at 9am and all City Raiders must be back to the finish no later than 3pm.

RAID POINTS vary and could be anything from shopping for an obscure item, playing a round of roulette at the casino to climbing the stairs of one of the locations land mark buildings. You need to collect a certain number of raid points then return to the finish line. This means you can choose which ones you tackle.

Teams are made up of two participants and open to all comers. As well as an open category, there are also categories for schools, corporate and fitness industry.
