City to Bronte Beach via Centennial Park

Back to Bronte, Centennial Park

This is a run I have often done from the CBD, where I work. You can take a quick dip in the see at the beach (optional) - I just take off my socks, shoes and top and go in in my shorts, then just get dressed after - no need for a towel. Water at the beach and Centennial Park. The route is almost all offroad, the only street was Oxford St but that feels like a jungle anyway!

Martin Place Start

This is a 9.0km run from Martin Place - Hyde Park - Oxford St/ Flinders St - Moore Park - Centennial Park - Queens Park - Bronte Park - Bronte Beach (18km if returning).

Kent St Start

I then moved offices to Kent St near the Rocks so its a bit longer (10.km), but I run along King St Wharf, Darling Harbour - Liverpool St - Oxford St/ Flinders St - Moore Park - Centennial Park - Queens Park - Bronte Park - Bronte Beach (20km if returning). King st Wharf and Darling Harbour is quite good. You even get to see a bit of Chinatown on the Liverpool St leg.
