The Basics
Don lived in Darwin for two years and said it was a great place for running. The heat and especially the humidity takes some getting used to but don't be deterred. The dry season (May to Sept) is an ideal time for running in Darwin.

Running Clubs & Groups
The Darwin Runners Club meets every Wednesday evening at 6.15 pm. Venues vary each week but they are a great bunch and I strongly recommend you get along to one of their runs if you can. You can find out where they meet by picking up their brochure at any of the sports stores around town. Anywhere from 60 to 100 runners turn up for those Wednesday night runs which are usually followed by a bbq.
