The Basics
- Hornsby is on the main North Shore railway line, so a lot of runners live near here, and its easy to get to. There are a lot of road runs on fairly quiet streets and longer runs that go off into the ample bushland surrounding the town - the area is surrounded by beautiful bushland, national parks, recreation areas and scenic waterways.
- Hornsby Shire covers a total of 51,000 hectares of which approximately 67% is bushland, making the opportunity for bushwalking and natural experiences enormous.
