Lane Cove National Park

Although it is a national park, it is embedded within suburbs of Sydney and is therefore easily accessible and gives a good feeling of being out in the bush.

The Basics

Runs through or from Lane Cove

  • There is a road in the park, so if you go when the gates are closed eg late at night or early in the morning, you can get a good safe run that is traffic free. But there are lots of bush tracks also - see below.

  • Sydney Striders Running Club have a popular 10km on the roadway within the park.
