Although marathons have been waxing and waning in popularity since the heady days of the late-1970s and early-1980s, they are still very much in the mind of runners everywhere. There are a number of marathons held in Australia each year, although finding consolidated information about them is hard to come by. We hope this helps !
Most races in Australia only advertise their race dates between 6 to 12 months in advance - Please do not ask us the exact race date for any race that is further out than this period. The most up to date listing is always found at the CoolRunning Calendar and in particular the marathon calendar is here.
