Sale Striders

Other Details: Xtreme Triathlon Club is a friendly triathlon and running club based at Hawthorn Aquatic & Leisure Centre in Melbourne's inner eastern suburbs. For a triathlon club, we have a particularly strong running program. We also have a close relationship with Old Xaverian's running club with many XTC athletes racing for Old Xav's in the APS winter cross country series from April to September over distances from 3.2km to the half marathon. In addition XTC competes each year in the Victorian Duathlon series held from June to October. XTC won the series in 2007/08.

Other Details: Yarra Multisport runs over twenty coached training sessions each week, two of which are run squads. Monday night leaves the Collingwood Leisure Centre at 6pm, with the session being tailored to individual needs including recovery runs, fartlek, interval and long distance work. Wednesday nights session starts at 6pm at the Collingwood Athletics Track, where participants complete shorter repeats working on speed with the coach supplying ongoing technical feedback. All sessions are conducted by a qualified run or triathlon coach and cater for all abilities.
