2003 Date & Half Marathon Announcement
19 November 2002The organiser of the annual Flora Sydney Marathon, Sporting Frontiers, has announced that the 2003 Sydney Marathon program will include an important new event. The inaugural Flora Half Marathon will be a feature of Marathon week, run for the first time to complement the Flora Marathon and The Sunday Telegraph 10k Bridge Run.
Marathon Race General Manager, Graeme Hannan, said in announcing the new race, "The addition of the Flora Half Marathon will greatly add to the Marathon weekend. There are a large number of runners who have requested another major Half Marathon in Sydney and we are confident that this race will prove to be a very popular addition to our overall programme of events."
Entry forms will be available on line in January or you may register your interest now to be sure of receiving a conventional entry form.
The 2003 Sydney Marathon and 10k Bridge Run will be held on 14 September 2003. Look out for our all-new 2003 event web site early in the new year.
