From AURA

Dear Runner,

The IAU 100km World Cup under the patronage of the IAAF will take place in Zan-en Dam, Nan-si, Tainan County, Taiwan on 16th November 2003.

Australia has been invited to attend and we would like to take a mens and womens team, each consisting of at least three and no more than six athletes.

The team will be selected by AURA according to the selection criteria and you are invited to apply for selection using the attached application form.

In general team members are expected to fund their own trip, but it has been the practise of the organisers to fund the following : The mens and womens teams are each eligible for one airfare from Australia to Belgium, and accommodation for three athletes for four nights and US$1000. The Australian team policy has been to divide this equally among the athletes. This is expected to be the case for 2003, but cannot be guaranteed at this stage.

Should you require further information, this can be obtained from the International Association of Ultrarunners website at www.iau.org.tw or contact myself, Tim Sloan, with contact details shown below.

Applications should be finalised by the start of July 2003 and successful applicants will be notified shortly after.

I will notify receipt of any applications within 48 hours, please contact me if you do not receive a reply within this time after submitting an application.

Please feel free to forward this message to anybody else you feel may be interested in applying.

Please use this application form.

Happy Running!

Tim Sloan
