2006 IAU 100km team announcement

Australian Ultra Runners Association Inc is pleased to announce the teams to represent Australia at the IAU100km World Cup to be held at Misari, Korea on 8 October, 2006.

The teams are :

Men:

  • Mike Wheatley (Vic, Capt)
  • Darren Benson (NSW)
  • Jonathan Blake (NSW)
  • Magnus Michelsson (Vic)
  • Robert Ware (Qld)

Women:

  • Siri Terjesen (Qld Capt)
  • Zoe Lawrie (Qld)
  • Viviene Kartsounis (NSW)


The team members have all satisfied the selectors in connection with meeting the qualifying standard of sub 8 hours for men and sub 9:30 for women. The selectors reserve the right to add further members (to a maximum of six) in the event of there being any outstanding performances between now and end August.


The athletes compete as individuals and the first three to finish count in the teams section.
