Mt Buller Date change for 2004

The Mansfield to Buller race which was scheduled for 25th January 2004 has had to be rescheduled for the following Sunday, 1st February 2004.

We have just been made aware that the enrite three days of the long weekend will see the entire course closed off to accomodate a car racing festival which has been heavily advertised in the local area. Running the race on the 25th was simply impossible and something we had no knowledge of or any control over.

Understandably, this late and sudden date change will be inconvenient to some and may well clash with other events. I believe a couple of you have already booked motels.

Race director, Peter Armistead, wishes to apologise for this inconvenience for which the only other option was to cancel the race completely.

We can assure you of a well run event on Sunday 1st February 2004 and hope to see as many runners as possible.
